PPM Laboratories participated for the first time in SENPHARMA at the Dakar Grand Theater by taking a stand there. SENPHARMA, which was the ninth edition, is the international trade fair for medicines and medical devices in Dakar. With a view to bringing together all health professionals, this event aims to be a framework for exchanges and sharing of experiences which, for two days, was attended by academics, pharmacists, surgeons, students, NGOs, training schools and public institutions to better address the concerns of patients. The general theme of this ninth edition was: Anti-Covid-19 vaccination: myths, realities, approaches and perspectives.
Pharmaceutical manufacturers, laboratories, drug wholesalers, insurers, medical equipment services, private and public players took part in this meeting. Prominent professors, masters and hospital directors supported this event with their presence. We can cite Pr Tandakha Ndiaye Diéye, Pr Daye Ka, Pr Khalifa Ababacar Wade, Pr Guata Yoro Sy , Pr Mamadou Coumé , Mr Jupiter Sène , Pr Sylvain Landry Faye, who made presentations on the subject that has upset the whole world.
The PPM stand received many visitors: pharmacists, 6th year students, doctors as well as future medical visitors… According to PPM representatives on site, many pharmacists and doctors know the laboratory’s products and it is KEM Probiotics, less known, which aroused the most interest among visitors. Its well-defined and well-explained benefits against the major factors of imbalance of the intestinal microbiota convinced the interlocutors. SENPHARMA was an opportunity for our representatives to establish contact with the association of pharmacy students which brings together all students from the first year to thesis year and which often organizes scientific meetings with which it would like to associate PPM.
